On May 27, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Gennady Zubko, who arrived in Ashgabat as the head of his country’s representative delegation to participate in the fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Ukrainian Commission for Economic Cooperation.

On May 26, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Mohammad Shaker Kargar - a special representative of the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

On May 22, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov convened a regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers to consider the priority issues of state life, as well as the drafts of some important documents.

On May 20, the talks were held between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif who arrived in the Turkmen capital on an official visit.

Last week, on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, Chairperson of Mejlis of Turkmenistan A. Nurberdyeva accepted the credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Turkmenistan Ms. Maya Hristova.

Last week, a regular session (8th) was held of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fifth convocation. The session was attended by representatives of the appropriate ministries and agencies, as well as representatives of the media community.

On May 15, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov presided over a joint session of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council of Turkmenistan, which was also attended by heads of Mejlis Committees of the country.
