President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers where priority issues of home and foreign policy have been reviewed. Hyakims of some velayats, cities and etraps, directors of universities, heads of mass media and non-governmental organizations and other leaders have been invited to participate in the session.

The regular issue of the journal “Foreign policy and diplomacy of Turkmenistan” dedicated to the important events of the foreign-policy life of the country in the last three months of the year appeared in print.

Turkmenistan prepares to launch the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline on the territory of Afghanistan. The preparations for this important international event were discussed during the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing the Ashgabat Khyakimlik to sign the contract with Bouygues Bâtiment International for the design and construction of the Government tribune with the improvement of the adjacent territory along the Kopetdag Avenue in Ashgabat.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairman of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan Gurbandurdyev Serdar Hodjanazarovich was appointed the Deputy Executive of the Asian Development Bank of Turkmenistan.

President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, in accordance to which the Türkmenbaşy State Commercial Bank and Senagat Joint Stock Commercial Bank will sign the contracts with Bouygues Bâtiment International for the design and construction of the administrative buildings of the banks, supplied with computers, furniture and other technical equipment and facilities, with the improvement of the adjacent territory along the Chandybil Avenue;

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed deep condolences to Queen Margrethe II of Denmark for the death of her spouse - Prince Henrik.
