On October 20, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov attended the ceremony of opening a new residential neighborhood built as part of the Ashgabat Redevelopment Program’s 14th phase.

On October 19, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov took part in celebrations on the occasion of commissioning of the 3rd stage of the residential area of Taze Zaman in Rukhabat etrap of the Turkmen capital, and also a new bridge over the Karakum-river.

On October 18, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov attended the solemn opening ceremony of facilities, constructed as part of implementing the Project for enhancing reliable supply of energy to the capital, and of Administrative Office and Training Center of “General Electric”, the internationally recognized American company and our country’s long-standing business partner.

On October 8, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov took part in the mass ecological action which was held in the southern part of Ashgabat, nearby the hotel “Yyldyz” where man-made forests already grow and new park has also been laid out.

On October 7, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov conducted a meeting devoted to the upcoming commissioning of the transnational railway – the Asian International Railway Corridor.

On October 7, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where several issues related to implementing state programs were discussed and a number of documents have been adopted.

On October 6, in Turkmenistan was marked the Memory Day- national remembrance of heroes who have fallen in fields of battles of all wars, and also victims of the catastrophic Ashgabat earthquake of 1948. On the occasion of this mournful date national flags were lowered in the country and everywhere remembrance rites and Sadaqah passed. The main actions of the Memory Day in which President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov participated, took place in Ashgabat, in the Memorial complex «Halk hakydasy».

On October 5, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Jack Nicklaus, President of famous American company «Nicklaus Design», specialising in golf sphere.

On October 4, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander in-Chief of the country’s Armed Forces, Army General Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov chaired a regular session of the State Security Council to sum up the work results of the military and law enforcement agencies in the first nine months of this year.

On October 3, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a regular working meeting in the format of videoconferencing with participation of velayats’ and Ashgabat city’s khyakims to consider the implementation of socio-economic reforms, the course of agricultural operations – winter wheat sowing and cotton harvest campaign, as well as the preparation for nationwide planting yovar (Community work day) and the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence.
