President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov sent a message of deep condolences to President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in connection with the crash of the airliner of International Airlines of Pakistan, which entailed numerous human losses.

On December 7, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Vice-President of the «General Electric» company, President and Chief Executive Director of the company in Russia and the CIS countries Ronald J. Pollett.

Having expressed sincere gratitude for spared time, the guest conveyed warm greetings of President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev to the Head of the State, Grigory Karasin mentioned that Russia highly appreciates traditionally friendly relations with Turkmenistan and pays great attention to the development of long-term partnership.

Telephone conversation was held between the Presidents of Turkmenistan and the republic of Uzbekistan. Having warmly greeted each other, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated with delight high level and constructive character of interstate Turkmen – Uzbek dialog, which is successfully developed in bilateral and multilateral formats under competent regional and international organization and structures.

On December 6, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and the President-elect of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

On December 6, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Grigory Karasin.

During the session, main directions of social and economic development of the country, situation in agricultural complex and as organizational issues of the 21st anniversary of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan and New Year holiday were reviewed.

The President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov sent a message of his sincere congratulations to Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev on electing him as the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a regular working videoconferencing with the participation of khyakims of velayats and city of Ashgabat. The agenda of video-session was focused on the main vectors of the country’s socio-economic development, the situation in the agro-industrial complex, preparations for the landmark event - the 21st anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality, and the New Year festivities.
